Lower Eastside Girls Club gets Ready

At the Lower Eastside Girls Club, forty girls are learning Ready, Sculptris, Unity and Arduino microcontrollers, to create an imaginative live dome show in their planetarium. They are also taking classes in sound design, art and sewing.

Over the course of five weeks, they will make 2D and 3D dome elements and audio-reactive animations, combined with LED costumes and special effects. 

The final show will be the next installment in a series of girl-made science fiction dome stories, following the adventures of the Pleiades Sisters, the first starship astronauts.
